It is practically important to determine the reasonable lateral offset of wagon gravity for developing out- gauge railway transportation and ensuring the transportation safety .Basing on the analysis of combination of lateral force under the most unfavorable vehicle overturned condition, this paper present the model of the vehicle overturning. To take Type D5 truck as example, it focuses on analysis of the change of the permit lateral offset with the vehicle loading utilization rate .The simulating results show that the permit lateral offset of wagon gravity center decrease with the increase of the vehicle loading utilization rate.
