Based on surveys of the passenger and visitors, user-based land use pattern of the railway passenger station is discussed. Field data showed that the overcrowding and the chaos of the station area make the users felt uncomfortable. Security and order are the most urgent need of the users. The historical core-layer land use pattern of the station area was based on the former railway transportation ways and the out-dated land use policy. As a conclusion, praxis-zoning land used pattern is established to adapt the users' demands and coordinate with the PDL construction and the land market policy.
