Middle school student’s trip has strong regularity with fixed time and place. However, because of the immaturity and the lack of relevant safety awareness, there exists serious safety hazards when middle school students are exposed to traffic environments. By expounding the characteristics and influencing factors of student’s trip, this paper uses the theory of planned behavior to model five modes of transportation, including walking, bicycle, electric bicycle, private car, and bus. The questionnaires are designed to collect relevant information, and use the structural equation model to analyze the influencing factors of Chinese student’s choice of trip mode, and compared with subjective norms and perceived behavior control, the path coefficients of middle school student’s behavior attitude and behavior intentions are lower, most of them are impacted by their parents’ choice of trip mode. There are sensible suggestions about traffic facilities near middle school mentioned at the end of the paper.
