In this paper we analyze the impact of different traffic information on drivers' compliance with information and preference for information. Traffic information includes radio information, variable message sign information and on-board navigation information. The analysis of the drivers' compliance with different traffic information is undertaken using a stated preference approach and the distinct multinomial logic models of drivers' preference for different traffic information are set up. The results confirm earlier findings that the young people and the people who familiar with road network are less incline to follow information. The analysis also reveals that different traffic conditions have different impacts on drivers' preference for information. The impacts of radio traffic information and variable message sign information are very similar in congestion and slow. But when an incident happens, the more motorists tend to prefer radio information.
