Traffic safety propaganda, as a social public safety campaign, mainly depends on traffic management departments in China. This campaign needs greater social participation, if it is to be successful. This research focuses on the factors that can attract public attention to traffic safety propaganda. The research target is enterprise whose role in such campaigns is generally overlooked. Based on questionnaire surveys carried out in April and July, 2010, the paper uses a logistic model to establish a relationship between a desire to participate and requirement elements which include propaganda purposes, methods, ensuring and incentive measures. To solve the problem of huge amount of variables, factor analysis is adopted to replace variables with principal components. Application of the model identifies the principal components of propaganda purposes and methods that have great influence on the decision of participating in the traffic safety propaganda. Analysis concludes that the influencing factors of traffic safety propaganda in enterprises have a significant effect on the basis for policy making and solutions based on requirements.
