Traffic information plays an important role in a trip by influencing the drivers’ route choice. In this paper, 281 random samples are collected from three areas in Nanjing. Analysis is performed on a structural equation model (SEM) based on the collected data, the drivers’ personal attributes, the travel characteristics, the drivers’ intent, and the subjective preference on guidance information. Specifically, this paper includes two parts to explore the effect of information on drivers’ route choice. The first is to establish the SEM for information acceptance and subjective preference on drivers’ guidance information. The second is to fit and evaluate the established model. Eventually, by using model fit summary and path coefficient, the weights and relationships between latent influencing factors are concluded.
