In creating the infrastructure for a future where there are millions of people living and working in space, Blue Origin is also opening the doors to a wide range of research and technology demonstration opportunities using our portfolio of platforms from New Shepard to New Glenn to Blue Moon. The New Shepard suborbital spacecraft offers a large volume, human rated capsule capable of carrying tended and untended payloads to altitudes above 62 mi (100 km). Both internal and external interfaces, including standard and custom lockers, facilitate early concept research and technology demonstrations with three minutes of weightlessness and exposure to the space environment. The New Glenn orbital launch vehicle will provide low cost, heavy lift capability to low Earth orbit (LEO), geo transfer orbit (GTO), and beyond including opportunities for novel large format research and technology demonstrations in its 23 ft (7 m) diameter fairing. The Blue Moon lunar transport service can enable small, medium, and large payload delivery to cislunar space, including to the lunar surface. The capabilities of these platforms, models of collaboration (with corporate, academic, and government researchers), and use cases from flights of private and federally funded researchers and educators will enable a new era in learning and expansion.
