With the market economy system in China becoming more and more perfect, some transportation demand forecast often used in the planned economy system are not suitable to the current situations. Based on the influences of market economic system, service of transportation and transport price to the transportation volume, and relationship between traffic volume and land use, this paper has first analyzed the territorial traffic demand prediction with node land use model and the regional characteristics of transportation. Then on the advantages in Gravity Model and node land use model, a new node land use model suitable to regional traffic volume prediction is established, and its calculation algorithms are given too. Finally, a case study and its advantages with other methods are described.
