Hybrid nanofluids are novel fluids that can be prepared by suspending various kinds of nanoparticles in a base fluid. In this paper, various syntheses of Au with Ag, , Al, and Ni nanoparticles are prepared and employed in some sets of experiments to investigate effects of pressure and nanoparticle type and concentration on heat of evaporation of the fluid. The experiments are implemented at temperatures ranging from 90 to 155°C and solid volume fraction range of 0–3%. Experiments indicate that effects of hybrid nanofluids in increasing the latent heat of evaporation can be sensible at high pressures. The maximum variation in the magnitude of latent heat of evaporation for the Au-based hybrid nanofluid is about 26.9% corresponding synthesis.
